How to Cancel Winc Wine Club Account

At the Wine Club Reviews, we are big fans of wine clubs! We love the fact that they offer a convenient and affordable way of venturing into the amazing world of wine all from the comfort of your own home.

Winc is a wine club that offers an easy wine club experience that allows its members to taste a range of incredible wines with a focus on Californian wines. We hope that you enjoyed your Winc wine club experience!

However, depending on your circumstances, there may come a time when you need to cancel your account. You might be planning on being away for a while, your priorities might change, or you just might like to try something new. So, the first question you are going to ask is yourself is “how can I cancel my Winc wine club?” Regardless of the reason, we are glad to be able to reassure you that canceling your Winc wine club membership can be done in a very straightforward manner without any penalties.

How to cancel your Winc account

You may cancel your Winc membership account at any time without any cancellation fees. There are two easy options to cancel your Winc account.

  • You can live chat with one of the Winc concierges via the support button on their website. This live chat service is available from Monday to Friday from 6am to 5pm PT or on Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 4pm PT.
  • Alternatively, if you prefer, you can call (855) 282-5829 and speak directly to one of the Winc concierges. Phone support is available from Monday to Friday 6am to 5pm PT or Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 4pm PT.

Pause your Winc account

Another option to canceling your Winc account is to pause it for a specified amount of time. Winc offers a very flexible option of being able to skip a month as often as you need. There are no charges applicable for this option. You do need to remember to do this at least 48 hours before your monthly fees are normally processed. To pause your Winc account, you will need to head to the ‘My Membership section’ on the website. Then the options vary depending on whether you manage your account via a desktop, a mobile device or the Winc iOS App.

For a mobile site:

  1. Login to your account
  2. Click on the 3 lines mark  than click on “Hello, ___.”
  3. Click on “My Membership”
  4. Click on “Skip a Month”
  5. Click on the “Skip a Month” button
  6. You will get a pop-up note, where you need to click on the “Continue to Skip” button to confirm and complete your skip

 For the Winc IOS App:

  1. Login to your account
  2. Click on the 3 lines mark
  3. Click on “Account Settings”
  4. Click on the “Skip a Month”
  5. Click on the “Skip a Month” button to complete your skip

For a desktop site:

  1. Login to your account
  2. Click on “Hello, ___.”
  3. Click on “My Membership”
  4. Click on the “Skip a Month” button
  5. You will get a pop-up note, where you need to click on the “Continue to Skip” button to confirm and complete your skip

Important things to consider when canceling your Winc account

One thing we recommend doing is to consider whether you need to pause or cancel your account. If you are simply going away for a while or have a busy month ahead of you, then perhaps your best option is to pause your Winc account. You can do this for as long as you need it. However, if you would like to have a complete change from receiving any deliveries or would like to try an alternative company then canceling your account would be the best option.

You should also take note of any deadlines; for example, you need to pause your Winc account at least 48 hours before your membership fees are processed. You would also need to skip a month or cancel your account before any deliveries had been dispatched.

There are many good alternatives to the Winc wine club. If you would like to try something new, our team at the Wine Club Reviews would love to recommend the following companies:
